Executive Chef muses on his favorites on Rehoboth Beach Restaurants-by Chef CYRUS JOSEPH KEEFER-Executive Chef, EDEN in REHOBOTH BEACH DELAWARE www.edenrestaurant.com :

Espuma www.espumarestaurant.com on Wilmington Ave always has great food, CHEF JAY Caputo, formally of TANGERINE in Philly, cooks up a storm with his Mediterranean influenced menu. He also has PORCINI HOUSE (no website to date) which boasts more Italian in style flatbreads, risotto menu, always worth the trip.

New to the beach and my favorite is SALT air owned and operated by John Spivak and CHEF NINO Mancari...bold eastern shore style cuisine with spanish influence, reminds me of tinto or amada, serving pinchos and really creative small bites on the plancha. Recently had octopus pinchos and could have eaten them all day long. He has flavor flavor flavor going on and the kitchen executes this menu perfectly. There is great sushi at STINGRAY operated and owned by the guys behind Mikimotos in Wilmington where they serve until 1am and they keep the sushi creative and simple. STINGRAY always a great experience. The scene continues to grow here in Rehoboth Beach and It's great to see the chefs I knew 8 years ago running the majority of these kitchens.
