New Restaurant in Baltimore's Canton, Steak dining deal every night

Primary tabs

Recently, driving, I saw a sign for a new restaurant in Canton formerly occupied by Meridian 54 and before that, a longer life as RED FISH. TANGIER's opened to public consumption, May 26th and we got the details. Combining insiration from the bistros of northern Morocco and the beaches of southern Spain comes a new addition to Baltimore’s restaurant scene, Tangier’s Bistro Bar and Martini Lounge.

Tangier’s brings together the vision of Casablancan-born and veteran restaurateur Alan Suissa with traditional Northern French Moroccan recipes handed down from several generations and prepared on-site by his mother Nadia Edery and his aunt Liliane Abitbol. “Any night you come to Tangier’s you will find my mother and my aunt in the kitchen preparing both the classic and modern cuisines they brought with them from Northern Morocco,’ added Suissa.

Located at the corner of Montford Avenue and Boston Street, Tangier’s officially opens in July for daily dinner service and both lunch and dinner on the weekends. Currently it is in a 'soft opening' while renovations continue. We look forward to sampling Baltimore's newest restaurant.
