Disgrace in Little Italy
Service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress wanted to argue with us about bringing parmesan cheese. What the h***? Food was good, not great. Over-priced. My wife and I dined there, used a coupon for a free appetizer, there was a LOT of confusion with the check, then they automatically added a tip! Waitress says it was because we used a coupon! What the h***? Too bad. We WANTED to like it because the decor is charming. Will not be back. There's too many other fabulous Italian restaurants within two blocks, and they're less expensive with better food and better service. Bye, bye Cafe Gia!

Dolche Vita
Popped in to see Gia and Mama Gia. It was two nights in a row for me in Little Italy, and I am extremely glad I got to try yet another new restaurant I had not dined at yet. Gia’s is great, its understated elegant, and warm and inviting. If you are an art buff the tables and walls are painted with fantastic murals, each very unique. I was blown away again at how friendly and welcoming everyone was, I wish every resturuant would take a lesson, you are are treated as a friend here. Continuing on with my veal kick (2 nights in a row) I had the picatta. Once again everything was great and return visits will be in my future.

Cafe Gia-grazie
Cafe Gia in Baltimore Little Italy (Gia's)--Fabulous spontaneous meal for 2 on a Saturday night. Gorgeous tulips lined the bar top. We loved our bruschetta chilled perfectly with fresh herbs, tomato, onion and garlic, evo, of course. My date enjoyed veal picatta and I decadently loved the pasta ragù bolognese which was served piping hot--a rare find 'piping'! Chef Gianfranco was understated and charming, as was Mama Giovanna who sat with various tables, including ours sipping her Harvey's Bristol Creme. Thankfully, we were directed to a fabulous vino straight from owner, Gia's private stock, a Montepulciano, San Calisto 05. Too full for desert, we passed up the lemon ricotta, the connoli and tiramisu-all housemade favorites. Grazie

Say hi to Cafe Gia
Love Cafe Gia's art on the outside, sets the tone for taking you away to Italy. The owner, Gia served us and her mother was there too, Chef Gianfranco is outstanding. (He used to be at Pazza Luna.) We recently loved their homemade meatballs with homemade marinara and wonderful caprese salads. Recommend a trip to Cafe Gia in Baltimore's Little Italy. Sit outside when in season.
