WHAT: Former NFL great Brian Mitchell will once again host the “Evening with the Stars” Gala to benefit Native Vision.

WHO: Emcee: Brian Mitchell, Former Washington Redskins Standout Running Back.

Special Guests: Billy Mills, 10,000 Meter Gold Medalist (1964 Olympics), DeMaurice Smith, Executive Director of the NFL Players Association; Solé, rapper/hip-hop artist, and more.

The 27th Annual Lombardi Gala – an unparalleled celebration to benefit the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Louis M. Weiner, M.D., Director.

This black-tie dinner dance features a cocktail reception and renowned silent auction; a raffle that includes a 2014 model Lexus automobile; presentation of awards to remarkable individuals for their fight against cancer; and more. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Gala go directly to Lombardi for cancer research, education, and treatment.

Symphony of Lights, a drive-through spectacle of more than 70 larger-than-life holiday light displays benefiting Howard County General Hospital, will offer military appreciation nights Dec.3 and Dec. 12, when members of the military with military ID will receive $10 off the regular price of admission.
