Musical Notes For Coats is a fundraiser concert event from MRIW Media to collect winter coats and gloves for the foster children of A Step Closer Foundation. A Step Closer Foundation provides assistance for children of all ages in the Maryland foster care system. The concert is Friday, October 18, 2013 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Living Well, 2443 N. Charles St.

As Philadelphia's only non-profit organization exclusively serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, the 20th Anniversary Celebration marks a major milestone for The Attic Youth Center. Celebrity guest, Alex Newell, best known for his role as Wade "Unique" Adams on Glee, will captivate Gala guests with an unforgettable performance, as they enjoy a cocktail reception followed by a seated dinner, award reception and dancing.

This cocktail event will feature a gourmet dinner, fine wine, a special performance by renowned jazz artist Maysa, dancing to a live band, an interactive art activity, and auctions featuring unique artwork – created by the at-risk children and youth living at The Children’s Home – and more!
