Musical Notes For Coats

Musical Notes For Coats is a fundraiser concert event from MRIW Media to collect winter coats and gloves for the foster children of A Step Closer Foundation. A Step Closer Foundation provides assistance for children of all ages in the Maryland foster care system. The concert is Friday, October 18, 2013 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Living Well, 2443 N. Charles St. The featured performer is neo-soul artist Yorrelle with the band Brilliant Corners (www.yorrelle.com) The menu includes desserts from Cupsey Cakesy by Dee (www.cupseycakesybydee.com). Proceeds from a silent auction of items and services from local businesses will provide additional funds to purchase new coats and gloves. Tickets purchased by October 11, are entered into a special drawing. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
