Register for The Terrapin and the Hare 5K Mud Run and Playworks Maryland help bring recess to 20 schools in the Maryland area! The Terrapin and the Hare Mud Run is a fun, high intensity, obstacle course run through the woods of Savage, Maryland. Starting at Terrapin Adventures, the Terrapin and the Hare will include 5 Kilometers of challenging terrain and will contain obstacles such as climbing walls, tires, webs, and, of course, mud. If you like a challenge and some food topped off with a beer from the Rams Head Tavern at the finish, then the Terrapin and the Hare is the race for you.

On Saturday, February 22, 2014, HopeWell Cancer Support will host the 8th annual Concert for Hope. Each ticket purchased goes directly to support HopeWell’s programs for individuals and families facing cancer right here in Baltimore. 

This year’s Concert for Hope is moving to Baltimore Soundstage, located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and will feature local favorite The Bridge, Hippy Sheiks, and Smooth Kentucky.

The fifth-annual Rappel for Kidney Health invites people of all ages to scale down the 32-story Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel to raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland (NKF-MD).

Participants will include people with connections to kidney disease, including transplant donors and recipients, as well as adventure seekers, media personalities and other local celebrities.
