Presented by the Women Veterans United Committee, Inc., this event is designed to provide key information and support to over 300 women veterans and give them the opportunity to voice their concerns. It will offer networking and job leads, free legal advice, benefits information and claims assistance, as well as the chance to meet Maryland representatives, learn about volunteer opportunities and win prizes!

FoodBridge – an online, food rescue system that saves food from the landfill and puts it into the hands of non-profits feeding the community – will present its first ever awards ceremony/fundraiser hosted by Kathy Szeliga (Minority Whip, Maryland House of Delegates). Approximately 200 food brokers, non-profits, councilmen and others who want to support a great cause, are expected to attend this evening of cocktails, a three-course dinner by event sponsor, Cafe Mezzanotte, open bar, jazz by Count The Cost and a special performance by rock and soul artist, Sophia Urista. The event highlight w

Susan G. Komen is the largest non-profit organization in the world dedicated to fighting breast cancer. Since 1982, every major advance in breast cancer research has been touched by Komen funds. Through events like the Race for the Cure, Komen Maryland has funded more than $37 million in the last 22 years for local breast health programs, education, and transformative national research. 75% of net donations stay in Maryland, while 25% funds national research. Every inch. Every foot. Every mile. Every step is a chance to end breast cancer.

Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore’s second annual PINK-O-WEEN event will close out PINKTOBER with a bang! Guests are invited to join in the Halloween fun at the downtown cafe, which will feature a live performance from local band Soundtown and cash prizes for the top three costumes. 

Now in its 5th year, Rock for Kids Sake is getting a little SOUL for 2015--and with the new name comes even more great music, a harbor-front location and a family friendly vibe. In addition to benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake,a percentage of this years proceeds will go to the South Baltimore Little League. The Little League is another local organization bettering the lives of young people in the vicinity of the event. There will be plenty of food and drink for guests to enjoy while rockin' on the waterfront.
