Join us for our annual Clayworks Bash 2016! Clayworks will be awarding community members, students and teachers with our ‘Best of Clayworks’ awards in outstanding areas. Gala guests can expect the continuation of our 2-part event; our gala portion featuring a short presentation of awards led by comedian Shawn Mathis Gooden, a silent auction, live auction, Year of Dining Raffle, a Pixelated photo booth, dance and delicious food and drink before the exciting After Party, which will start at 9PM.

The Iraqi Children Foundation (ICF), a 501 (c) (3) charity, is hosting its Fourth Annual IN THEIR SHOES 5K Run/Walk to benefit Iraq's most vulnerable children – its orphans, street children and kids fleeing ISIS. Funds raised through the 5K are invested in emotional care for traumatized children, access to education for children displaced by violence, providing nutrition and health care, legal aid, and more. The mission of ICF is to assist the families and communities of Iraq by mobilizing a life changing Surge of Love for these desperately poor and at risk children.

On the evening of Thursday, May 12, 2016, the Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound School will celebrate 30 years on course at our 14th Annual Cornerstone Awards Dinner honoring Patrick F. Noonan, former president of The Nature Conservancy and The Conservation Fund and recipient of the Lady Bird Johnson Environmental Award. This special event includes a cocktail hour at the historic Orianda Mansion, dinner on the lawn, music and more! Together, we will raise over $275,000 to move students off of the scholarship waiting list and into the ranks of the enrolled.

After two straight sold-out shows, the Stoop Storytelling Series returns to Bolton Street Synagogue. Seven storytellers will share seven true, seven-minute stories about one theme: the complications of Jewish life. The evening features light fare, drinks, live entertainment, a silent auction and dessert.
