The 13th Annual Casey Cares Golf Tournament is sure to be a hole in one with you, your friends, work colleagues and for the critically ill children and their families who benefit from the proceeds of this event. Casey Cares provides ongoing, uplifting programming for critically ill children and their families and without support from events like these we could not continue to send families to sporting events, concerts and tourist attractions.

Join us at the Casey Cares Foundation’s 16th Annual Gala happening on Saturday, March 19th from 6:30pm – 11:00pm at the American Visionary Art Museum. This year’s theme is Superhero Soiree and we’ll be celebrating our heroes - the kids in our programs and our generous supporters! This fabulous annual event features entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, seated dinner, cocktails, dancing, auctions and more! Reagan, of MIX 106.5 and Lynette Charles, WMAR-TV meteorologist will emcee.

Don’t miss this performance, multimedia poetry reading and book signing event with Frederick Foote, author of Medic Against Bomb: A Doctor’s Poetry of War. He will join singer/songwriter, ellen cherry; Alonzo Lamont and a Veterans Ensemble to share veterans’ stories and shed light on post-traumatic stress.

Join 500 volunteers for the 10th Annual Community Mitzvah Day. Volunteers will participate in activities including preparing winter care packages, stuffing teddy bears and making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Items will be distributed to individuals in homeless shelters in Baltimore City and County. Others will serve holiday dinner at shelters throughout Baltimore. This is one of the many projects organized by the Jewish Volunteer Connection that helps volunteers give back at area schools, shelters, hospitals, synagogues and organizations throughout Baltimore.  

Don’t miss this multimedia poetry reading and book signing event with Frederick Foote, author of Medic Against Bomb: A Doctor’s Poetry of War. A portion of the proceeds from Foote’s books sold that day will benefit the $4 million Green Road healing garden initiative at Walter Reed scheduled to launch this Spring.
