The 5th Annual Voices from the Heart Gala is a celebration of YOU — the good people of Baltimore who built and supported the Franciscan Center — and of the tens of thousands of men, women, and children whom we’ve served together throughout the past 48 years.

Please join us for a magical, musical evening featuring fabulous jazz music by the Radio King Orchestra’s RKO Combo, along with cocktails, dinner, dancing, auctions and much more! We will also be honoring longtime volunteer and supporter Mr. Kevin Wille with the 2016 Spirit of St. Francis Award.

Help us raise the rails at the Second Annual Benefit for the Rail Park at BRICK and MORTAR! The indoor-outdoor benefit will feature a two part celebration, kicking off with a cocktail party 6-8pm - boasting an open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres from Chef Brian Ricci. There will be performances from acclaimed a capella group, The Silver Ages (featuring the War on Drugs' Dave Hartley), fire performances from LUX ARATI, complimentary Stateside Vodka samplings and more! $125pp.

Enjoy a rocking night with live music, including a performance by the country-rock group, The Justin Ryan Band, the nation’s top AC/DC tribute band --- High Voltage --- and “Beehive Queen” singer/songwriter Christine Ohlman and give back to a great cause in Casey Cares. Over the years, the event has attracted major musicians from bands including Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Saturday Night Live Band, Night Ranger, and has featured an amazing silent auction, raffle and dancing into the morning!

The 28th annual Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) Father’s Day 5K, hosted by GBMC Foundation and presented by GBMC Volunteer Auxiliary, will consist of a 5K (3.1 miles) and one-mile fun walk to benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at GBMC. In 27 years, the Father’s Day 5K has raised more than $1.75 million for critically ill and premature babies cared for in the NICU. In 2015, the 5K raised a record $170,000 for the NICU.

There will be wine tasting, food pairing, and jazz music under a tent on the terrace of the Comus Inn with all proceeds going to L-Dub’s Love, Inc. (supporting families of children being treated at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center).

The Comus Inn will supply an array of hors de oeuvres to compliment wine from local vineyards, all while being serenaded by jazz musician Kerensa Gray. There will also be a silent auction with many wonderful items available.
