Living Classrooms’ fifth annual fundraiser on the DC waterfront. A Night at The Yards will feature food and beverages catered by over 30 area restaurants, live music by LA-based Latin-Afro-funk-soul band Orgone, and a casual-festive waterfront ambiance. Living Classrooms will also honor DC area “Rising Stars” as young philanthropists on this evening. A Night at The Yards will raise critical funds for Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region hands-on education programming.

Assaggi Osteria, located at 6641 Old Dominion Drive in McLean, VA, is excited to host its Third-Annual International Wine & Cheese Festival tasting event on Saturday, September 29th from 3 PM to 7 PM.

Black Restaurant Group Chefs/Owners Jeff and Barbara Black are excited to host a Crab Feast on Sunday, September 30th.  Two seatings will be available from 12 Noon to 3 PM and from 3:30 PM to 7 PM.  Guests will enjoy unlimited Maryland steamed crabs, BBQ ribs, a selection of seasonal, American sides and ice-cold beer provided by Heavy Seas Brewery.  Guests who opt for the later seating will be able to catch the televised Washington Redskins vs.

Before hitting the books, spend one last day on the water with family and friends.  The festive Spirit of Washington presents the Sunday Back to School Lunch Cruise, the perfect back-to-school treat for students of all ages.
