Join us for Hadassah's 7th annual Cell-A-Brate to benefit life saving stem cell research and advocacy. The evening will include delicious dining, a live band and a spectacular silent auction. This year's honoree is radio personality Detour Dave Sandler. Dave's life changed in 2009 when he suddenly collapsed on the softball field from cardiac arrest. It was later determined that Dave's heart troubles due to blocked arteries stemming from radiation therapy he had more than 25 years earlier for treatment of Hodgkin's lymphoma.

The time-honored Howard County holiday tradition, Symphony of Lights, has baby fever! Blinkin' Binkies is back by popular demand on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 4:30–5:45 p.m., with the last admission at 5:15 p.m. Families can celebrate the season with a leisurely 1.4-mile stroll through the dazzling light displays. Children in strollers and wagons are welcome.

Open to the public for all age groups and fitness levels, the 5K run and 1-mile walk will raise money for the Susquehanna Hose Company, which is responsible for the fire protection services for the City of Havre De Grace.
