SMOKIN’ BETTY’S AND DEVIL’S ALLEY HOST 6th PUPPY LOVE VALENTINES PARTY TO RAISE MONEY FOR PSPCA  

Co-chaired by Terri Taber and George D. Bittar, M.D., F.A.C.C., and emceed by ABC2 News Anchor Jamie Costello, this premier black-tie gala will feature a cocktail reception, full-course dinner, live music by Highway Star and the “Dancing Stars” competition among individuals and couples chosen for their leadership in the community and their support of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Chaired by Judy Lancaster (Alzheimer’s Association board member and CFO of Lancaster Craftsmen Builders, Inc.) and Diana Grimm (contracting office representative for Department of Homeland Security), with Mirror Ball Sponsor, Tox Path Specialists, this black-tie optional event will feature cocktails, seated dinner and dancing to live music by The Shades.

Benefitting the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland, Kidney Walk is a fun, inspiring, community fundraiser that calls attention to the prevention of kidney disease and the need for organ donation.

Following the 1.6 mile-walk, participants can enjoy refreshments and mingle with zoo animals. Additional activities include face painting, as well as rock climbing and touring a digital camouflage Humvee – both provided by the Maryland National Guard.

Baltimore Raven Paul Kruger, who shares a special connection with NKF-MD, will serve as celebrity ambassador.

Participants can choose from a 3-mile or 1-mile path, or a special route for wheelchairs. Cheering on participants will be Keyote, the Frederick Keys mascot. Adding to the fun will be refreshments, a DJ and festivities for all ages, including face painting and hula hoops.

Arlington, VA  [January 9, 2013]— EPIC Smokehouse joins forces with the Arlington County Fire Department and Port City Brewing Company on Monday, January 28, to raise funds and have fun – guest bartending. The event supports the 9/11 Tribute at Station 5, home of Engine, Truck and Medic 105. EPIC Fireman guest bartending kicks off at 6pm with firefighter Derek Spector behind the bar.
