It’s that time of year to honor Spain’s favorite culinary tradition, paella!  From September 17th through September 30th, José Andrés and his culinary team at Jaleo, will celebrate the Tenth Annual Paella Festival with a two-week event featuring inspired cocktails and dishes with special guest and the master of paella, Chef Rafael Vidal of Restaurante Levante in Benisanó, Spain, the birthplace of paella.

José Andrés and his team at Oyamel Cocina Mexicana, located at 401 7th Street, NW, are excited to celebrate Mexican Independence Day with several delectable specials from September 14th through September 16th, available exclusively during dinner service. This holiday, celebrated on September 16th, is best known as the “Grito de Dolores”, or the “Cry for Independence”, the event that marked the beginning of the Mexican War of Independence from Spain.
