Chef Christian DeLutis, seen left with CITYPEEK Patti, one of Baltimore's true breakout stars has left his perch at Alizee Bistro and wine bar and moved to be 'consultant' at Sotto Sopra in Mt Vernon. Sous chef John Carroll will take over the lead role in the Alizee kitchen.

Alizee has had a few chefs in its two year tenure at the restaurant housed in the Doubletree INN at the Colonnade-you know, the restaurant chain that hands you a warm chocolate chip cookie upon check-in?  Before Alizee, Chef Christian worked at The Wine Market, Cork's, The Dogwood and had a stint in Ireland. A most accomplished, creative chef, his love if food shines through in every dish. We hear he would eventually like to set up his own spot someday. We certainly will follow him anywhere!

As previously reported, Chef Bill Crouse, Jr., formally of Sotto Sopra, has joined the staff of Fells Point's Sláinte Irish Pub and Restaurant and Woody's Rum Bar and Island Grill, sister of Kooper's and newly owned CELIE's Bed & Breakfast-- all owned managed by Patrick Russell and Bill Irvin. Sotto Sopra's Chef/Owner Ricardo Bosio will continue to be its Executive Chef--the position recently left vacant by Chef William Crouse, Jr. who has numerous local awards, credentials and followers.

SCOOP! NO 1006 Restaurant has NOT closed, not exactly--the owners Chefs Penny and Tom Chungasakoon have taken all notes of American out of  their menu and now offer a more affordable THAI only menu of offerings. They renamed their spot THAI YUM--remember, it is located directly across the street from one of its FEDERAL HILL favorites-THAI ARROY.

Amy O'Connell recently left The Doubletree Inn at the Colonnade to become Director of Sales & Marketing  at the Holiday Inner Harbor Hotel. Joining Amy is Keith Berghoff who recenly left HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS to join the Holiday Inner Harbor Hotel team.

JUDY WILBUR has left RADISSON CROSS KEYS to join as Director of Sales & Marketing at the TREMONT HOTELS-the position most recently held by BIBI HACKSHAW.

Tammy Stone left The Doubletree Inn at the Colonnade and now has settled in comfortably on a yacht--selling rides for the luxurious PINTAIL Yachts

Mike Nasuti left Holiday Inner Harbor Hotel and has joined  as Regional Director of Sales – Westin & Sheraton BWI; Aloft & Element Arundel Mills

BOBBY KERFOOT has left tending the bar with pals Chef's Annmarie and Tom from HELEN's GARDEN in CANTON to return to HARBOR EAST's ROY's RESTAURANT-aloha!

Daniel RAFFEL has started his mobile food industry with HAUTE DOG-recently blogged read all about it. recently sampled his yummy dogs on a steamy summer day. Daniel also runs al la carte catering. You can find him making the dogs outside of BONJOUR on Falls Road. Bonjour has some of the best french pastries and breads in town. A real find!

And one of the biggest surprise, my friend MARY SIPES, a HYATT veteran for 24 years has taken a fabulous position in Business Travel Sales with Intercontinental HARBOR COURT Hotel. She joins  HARBOR COURT Hotel. Another flagship mover, Jeff el-Zein who once worked with MARRIOTT HOTELS and now is the HARBOR COURT hotel's Banquets Manager.
