Help reclaim the future for millions by participating in the Western Maryland Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.  Hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Maryland Chapter, the event provides an opportunity for the community to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and how to get involved with this critical cause, from advocacy opportunities and clinical trial enrollment, to support programs and services.

Come prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse at Terrapin Adventures.  Our trained guides will see if you have what it takes in the areas of Endurance, Agility, Strength, Courage, and Accuracy to survive the Zombie Apocalypse. Strengthen your muscles and climbing skills on our tower. Improve your agility on our obstacle course. Learn to conquer your fear on our high ropes course. Fine tune your accuracy while traveling down our zip line. Since the Zombie Apocalypse is coming have fun while you can on our Giant Swing. $75 per person, must be 8 years old and 70 lbs. and 48 inches tall.

WHAT: The best annual special event on the DC Waterfront celebrating and supporting the important work of Living Classrooms.

WHEN: Friday, October 17th, 2014 - 7:00pm.

WHERE: DC waterfront near Nationals Stadium – Lot Q, corner of Water St & 4th St, SE, Washington, DC

Join C&R Pub for "Ronald McHoedown" Happy Hour and support a great cause! The event will be held on Wednesday, October 22, from 6-9pm. Your $10 donation will include complimentary eats & one free domestic. There will be awesome raffle & auction prizes so be sure to purchase raffle tickets & bid on the auction! Prizes range from a one night stay & breakfast for two at Four Season Hotel Baltimore to gift cards and tee shirts.
