A child is diagnosed with cancer every three minutes – that is why Wahl Clipper is challenging the Kappa Sigma Fraternity & New York residents to Get Buzzed… for good.  Together they’ll raise funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and childhood cancer research. Join us on November 15 at 200 Fifth Restaurant & Sports Bar for an event featuring head-shaving, entertainment and the chance to hear from local New York families impacted by cancer. Join the movement by pledging to Get Buzzed on November 15, donating to the cause or attending the event.

Help reclaim the future for millions by participating in the Harford County Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. Hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Maryland Chapter, the event provides an opportunity for the community to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and how to get involved with this critical cause, from advocacy opportunities and clinical trial enrollment, to support programs and services.

City Tap House, the craft beer-focused restaurant located at 901 9th Street, NW, 20001, is partnering with The Washington Capitals to host a fundraiser benefiting Foundation 4 Heroes.  Hockey fans are encouraged to stop by Sunday, November 9th from 5 PM to 7 PM, to meet John Carlson, Karl Alzner and Troy Brouwer of The Washington Capitals who will be guest bartending throughout the two-hour event.  There is a $20 entrance fee with entitles guests to a complimentary beverage, and a $10 fee for all autographs with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Foundation 4 Heroes, a non-profit organization
