Join BLSYW in honoring two Power Women and one The Man We Love for their personal dedication to hard work, leadership, and empowering young people. This year's honorees are: Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Chancellor William "Brit" Kirwan of the University of System of Maryland, and Chairman Sheila K. Riggs of the Maryland Health and Higher Education Facilities Authority.

The Maryland State’s Attorneys’ Association presents the Second Annual 7k Run to Remember at Centennial Park on Saturday, April 25, 2015.  The charity run/walk will benefit the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence and coincides with National Crime Victims' Rights Week (April 19-25, 2015).  The race length (4.3 miles) represents one-k for every day of observance or remembrance. 

Gala celebrating the inspiring stories of the children and the dedicated staff at MWPH that cares for them. Event includes auction, dinner and dancing. Proceeds from the Gala will help us continue to provide great care for our most precious asset, our children.

A child is diagnosed with cancer every three minutes – that is why Wahl Clipper is challenging the Kappa Sigma Fraternity & residents of Brooklyn to Get Buzzed… for good.  Together they’ll raise funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and childhood cancer research. The event will be held March 14 at 200 Fifth Restaurant & Sports Bar, featuring head-shaving, entertainment and the chance to hear from local New York families impacted by cancer.
