A note from Chef Cindy Wolf:

Tony and I will be hosting a special dinner at Charleston on Monday, June 14th to benefit the Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. We would be delighted to have your company and, of course, your support of this evening would mean a great deal to us.

As is traditional for this special occasion, I will present a seasonal multi-course menu which will be accompanied by Tony’s wine pairings from our personal cellars.

Smalltimore® Events has been selected to upgrade the Survivor Harbor 7 pre-race packet pickup to a pre-race social party at the Can Company on Friday June 11th 2010 from 4pm till 8pm. Be prepared for the Smalltimore® Social Garden which will include:

On May 20, Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. (Enterprise) will host an inaugural fundraising event, Harbor Lights: Leading the Way Home, to celebrate the creation and preservation of thousands of affordable homes for low-income families in Maryland. Enterprise will also commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Enterprise Women’s Network (EWN), formed in 2000 to channel the energies of women across Baltimore toward helping low-income women and children improve the quality of life for themselves, their families and their communities.

Concert by Leon and Katherine Jacobson Fleisher to benefit BARCS. Tickets are $35 to $125. $125 tickets include a reception with the artists. This their only Baltimore area appearance together this season. They will be performing Spring favorites by Chopin, Debussy, Ravel, and Schumann.

There will be a silent auction starting at 6:30 pm, the concert is at 8 pm. Auction items include Charm City Cake, a piano lesson with Leon Fleisher, rental of a vacation house in France, and a print signed by Brooks Robinson.

Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA) will host MANNA Nourish Awards 2010, an inaugural fundraising event that supports MANNA’s 20th anniversary of preparing and delivering nourishing meals to individuals and families with life-threatening illnesses. A deliciously lively supper party with amazing ambience, great music and dancing, as well as a temptingly extravagant raffle and art auction, MANNA Nourish Awards 2010 will also honor the achievements of M•A•C AIDS Fund and M•A•C Cosmetics, The Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine, and R.
