Approximately 400 people are expected to participate in this fun, inspiring, community fundraiser that calls attention to the prevention of kidney disease and the need for organ donation

Leashed pets are welcome for the three-mile walk. Additional highlights include music from Moonbeam Entertainment, children’s crafts from Home Depot, pizza from Uno’s Chicago Grill, snacks from Food Lion, juice beverages from Wawa, and water from Pepsi.

Funds raised through Kidney Walk will directly support NKF-MD’s patient services, education and research efforts.

Leashed pets are welcome for the two-mile walk. The event also will feature refreshments—including bagels from Panera, entertainment and activities for the whole family. Sherry Goodman of New York Life Insurance will produce complimentary child photo ID cards.

Wide Angle Youth Media Invites You to a Breakfast Benefit: featuring Spike Gjerde, Co-Owner and Chef of Woodberry Kitchen. Come share a Woodberry Kitchen breakfast, take a tour of the Youth Media Festival’s gallery exhibit hosted by many of Baltimore’s community leaders, and hear Spike Gjerde speak about Sustaining Local Relationships.
