Donors are Heroes, in conjunction with the Gift of Life Donor Program, is hosting ‘THE Party’ on Friday, April 8 from 8pm -11pm at The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.

The 5th Annual Walk for Lupus Now will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (registration begins at 9:00 a.m.) – rain or shine. The walk route starts at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue(next to Freedom Plaza), along to 3rd Street (the Capitol Building), and returns to 13th Street. The route is about 2 miles. The National MS Society Maryland Chapter will host a special event called “MSquerade”, and will take place on Friday, March 4th at the Valley Mansion in Hunt Valley.

The event will take celebration of the revelry of “N’awlins” Mardi Gras and the spirit of MS Awareness Month! The night will include food, drinks, entertainment provided by the Fabulous Greaseband, silent auctions, table games and much more.

All proceeds will benefit the research, programs and services for the 10,000 people living in Maryland with multiple sclerosis.

Please join us as eight authors sign more than 1-1/2 dozen books including a number on the WWII WASP (Women Airforce Service Pilots) in honor of the first anniversary of their Congressional Gold Medal award. At least five of the titles are specifically aimed at children and we plan to donate $2 for each book purchased toward the cost of giving a copy to a local school library. YOU CAN HELP!
