Theatre Exile presents the Philadelphia premiere of erotic thriller Smoke, from February 18-March 13, 2016 (various times) at Studio X (1340 S. 13th Street). John and Julie meet at a kink party in New York City. She’s an aspiring college dropout and he a jaded wannabe artist—they instantly connect. With desires exposed, knives out and sex an open-ended question, a playful game of cat and mouse heats up and becomes a dangerous struggle for power that pushes them further than they'd ever thought they'd go.

From Baltimore-Boca OUZO BAY to open in Mizner Park

If you have been to Mizner Park, you know it is similar to the monied streets like Palm Beach's Worth Avenue, Chicago's Magnificent Mile or LA's Rodeo Drive. Now Boca is going to take a bite out of Baltimore with the addition of OUZO BAY Greek Kouzina. Floridians in for a treat!

Inis Nua Theatre Company presents the American premiere of Spine, by English playwright Clara Brennan from February 17 to March 6, 2016, at The Drake (1521 Spruce St). Spine is a heart-warming, funny and defiant love-song to libraries, an increasingly endangered species under Britain's austerity government. A fiery and wise-cracking teenager forges an unlikely friendship with an elderly widow living in a house of stolen books. Together, the two discover they may be each other’s last resort in life.
