Suited to Succeed's: 12th Annual Benefit “Suit-A-Palooza”

Suited to Succeed will hold its 12th Annual Benefit “Suit-A-Palooza 2012” on May 24th, 2012 from 5:30pm–9:30pm at the Patricia & Arthur Modell Center for the Performing Arts at the Lyric.

The event ticket price is $50 in advance and $60 at the door. Early birds can purchase 2 advance tickets for $95. There is also the Suit-A-Palooza Party Pack that includes 10 tickets for $475.

The Maryland Science Center will celebrate summer and science in style at its 35th annual fundraising gala, Solstice, on Saturday evening, June 23, 2012. The Maryland Science Center’s largest fundraising event of the year will feature live, dance-floor-filling music, delicious dining and signature drink selections.

Black Restaurant Group Hosts A Chicken Fried Steak Showdown At Black Jack to Support Juvenile Diabetes with Foodie & The Beast

Proceeds from the May 6th event will help meet the $200,000 goal of Black Restaurant Group to build a special teaching kitchen at the Washington Nationals Diabetes Care Complex at Children’s National Medical Center.

The 23rd Annual Susan G. Komen Global Race For The Cure®, run annually on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., will be held on June 2nd, 2012, and will enable the organization to continue its investments in education, screening, treatment and support, both locally and across the globe. Three out of every four dollars generated by the Race remain in the National Capital Area to address local breast health challenges, while the remaining funds will support Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s efforts to address the growing breast cancer crisis globally.
