Show Your Soft Side and Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) will hold the sixth annual Pawject Runway, presented by Pet Valu, on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Royal Farms Arena.  The fashion show features “Softies,” animal-loving professional athletes, entertainers and activists, who will strut the runway “modeling” a range of adorable and friendly dogs and cats in need of a home from BARCS. 

Dress as your favorite comic book, cartoon, game or pop culture character for the National Kidney Foundation’s inspiring community fundraiser!

In addition to the 3-mile walk (or optional shorter path), enjoy a photobooth, fitness stations, vendor exhibits, the Home Depot KidsZone, facepainting, t-shirt decorating, prizes, giveaways and complimentary refreshments. Or purchase items from the B'more Greek Grill, Jimmy's Famous Seafood, 2 Bold Chefs and Kona Ice food trucks, which will donate 15 to 20 percent of sales to NKF.

The Red Devils, a Maryland-based non-profit supporting families living with breast cancer, will host the 4th annual Wine Women & Shoes event. Just in time for Mother's Day, the popular spring event will bring together more than 300 women for an afternoon of fashion and fun. Proceeds from the event will provide thousands of breast cancer families with safe rides to treatment, keep them secure in their homes, and relieve overwhelming burdens of medical costs caused by breast cancer.

Baltimore’s premier caterers, event designers, mixologists and entertainers will unite for an international-themed fundraiser, which invites the public to “experience how the event industry throws a party.”

Guests will “travel” to Italy, Morocco, India, Costa Rica and Vietnam. Each destination will have a customized vignette featuring signature delicacies, specialty cocktails and décor. Voting will take place for the Best International Experience award.
