Baltimore’s premier food and beverage event is back to benefit the National Kidney Foundation Serving Maryland and Delaware!

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Washington DC 8th Annual Red Shoe 5K Run & Walk will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Dulles Station in Herndon, VA. Proceeds from the event will further the charity’s mission to ease the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. The family-friendly event will feature a timed 5K course suited for both runners and walkers (all competition levels welcome), and a Kid’s Fun Run for kids 8 years old and younger.

The Phi Beta Kappa Lifelong Learner Award is given to a member of the greater Westminster, Md., community and four students from a variety of disciplines present their research at this event. Call 410-857-2530 for more information.

It’s Black Tie & Tails, Baltimore Humane Society’s can’t-miss annual gala at The Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley on Saturday, March 17th.  The evening, hosted by WMAR-TV ABC2 News anchor, Jamie Costello, features an elegant seated dinner, open bar, live music, dancing, silent and live auction, Bark! Store goody bags, and many more surprises! Bring your pet if you like and show off its evening wear in the Pet Fashion Parade.  This is a night you won’t forget!
