Serving lunch, dinner, and happy hour!
The Lebanese Taverna Baltimore restaurant is a part of the most exciting urban development project in all of Baltimore, the new Baltimore East Harbor. Surrounded by great hotels and retail stores, and near attractions of the Inner Harbor such as the Baltimore Aquarium, Baltimore Maritime Museum, and the Maryland Science Center, this convenient location will soon become one of your favorites!
The beautiful interior features tall windows that look out on the water, and ceilings that billow down like the sails of a ship. While the design is unique, you'll find the same great service, quality foods, and wine selections that have made Lebanese Taverna restaurants so popular in the Washington DC area.

Sometimes this place matches the stylish decor and ambiance with great food and service, but you usually can't get all three at the same time. Granted it could just be a lunch crew thing, as all my visits were during lunch. The service can sometimes be slow, and the food can range from great to OK. I still would recommend you try the place, but be prepared for some hiccups.
Had a great dinner experience last night with friends in from out of town. I found the food and service to be excellent. I would most definitely recommend Lebanese Taverna.
I visited Lebanese Taverna with two of my friends last weekend. We arrived around 9 on a Saturday night and were able to take a seat in the bar area booth. The style and decor created an excellent ambiance of class and comfort. The lighting was just right for the evening. Our meal consisted of Calamari, a unique, cold, stuffed eggplant dish, cucumber yogurt dip (like a tzatziki), the meat pies, baklava, and a chocolate lava dessert. The deserts were out of this world, especially the baklava. The pistacio ice cream was a good touch. The calamari was delicious and meat pies were good, though the pies had a lot of pastry-to-meat ratio. The eggplant dish was very unique--worth a try but I might move on to something else next time. The dip was a good accompaniment to the pita bread. Our server was attentive and polite. ALl in all we enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back to try more dishes.
It was a very long, dragging week. I was very ready to start the weekend and meet a good friend of mine in Harbor East! We had not chosen a place at the time, but knew for certain that we wanted to explore something new. We took a walk around the area and came upon Lebanese Taverna. There was a lovely outdoore seating area which was perfect for a warm Summer day, such as the one that we had chosen to enjoy happr hour on. We walked in and were very cordially welcomed to Lebanese Taverna. We immediately took our seats and were informed of their AWESOME happy hour. For only $2 to $5, we chose lovely appetizers, such as their grilled chicken wings and Hummus and Pitas. To top this off, we decided on Mango Martinis (perfect for ringing in the weekend). I have been to many restaurants in Baltimore and have tried several cocktails. However, Lebanese Taverna exceeded my expections on both food and drink. That is why I gladly give them five "flames" and cannot wait to return.
Great atmosphere for a great time with friends and family. Food is excellent and authentic Lebanese.
I had gone to Lebanese Taverna about a week after it first opened, and wasn't very thrilled with the food. I basically turned my back on it and tried other venues, keeping it last in mind. However, I recently went back and was impressed with the improvements! First of all, our waiter (Tim) was absolutely fabulous! He was attentive, personable, and made you feel very welcome. He constantly refilled drinks & asked how we liked everything. He wanted to hear all our opinions and never stopped smiling. True customer service! Second of all, the food really was great. I recommend what my husband got (a dish of lamb served in 3 ways). I got the shrimp kabobs which were great, and the falafel to start. But if you get any drinks, try the white sangria! Has a hint of white peach and it's so delish! This is definitely a unique menu, and I probably won't crave it on a daily basis. But it definitely has a lot to offer and will recommend to others!
