This wine class is geared at people who would like to discover and understand the world of wine. GiraMondo has developed a proprietary methodology that helps anyone train his/her nose. We will go through a number of fun and educational activities to train your nose before tasting six wines.

• This class will cover the following topics:
• Where do wine flavors and aromas come from
• How are these aromas categorized
• How to recognize these aromas

The theme will be American Wines with some of the best wines from California, Virginia, Oregon, Washington, Maryland and more! We will do our best to have wines from as many states as possible! You will learn from winemakers, winery representatives, importers, distributors, and wine pros who will be on hand to pour wines and help you learn more! Tweet about each wine and see which ones are the night’s favorites!

April 16: High Tea Class and Tasting ($49)

Join GiraMondo for a special class and tasting on tea as we focus our attention on food and drinks other than wines for luncheon / afternoon events.

We will start our event with a quick game of tea facts and trivia. (the winner will take home a special box of tea)

Then, we are honored to welcome Elise Scott, one of only 23 certified Tea Masters in the US and owner of Pearl Fine Teas. Elise will present a number of interesting facts about teas, including:
