The Washington Kastles will be back in the heart of downtown Washington for their second season of Advanta World TeamTennis. They kick off another action-packed season on July 7th against Venus Williams and the Philadelphia Freedom. Kastles Stadium will return to CityCenterDC with an expanded, nearly 3,000 seat stadium at the corner of 11th and H Streets, NW. In addition to their seven home matches, the Kastles will also host the 2009 Advanta WTT Championship Finals, which will be played for the first time in Washington on Sunday, July 26th.

Blisspop presents its summer extravaganza, also with Will Eastman, Bobby Jae and Ken Lazee and Dmerit.

After her instant success with the catchy pop-rock tune “All I Wanna Do,” this nine-time Grammy winner produced a string of hits, including “Strong Enough,” “My Favorite Mistake,” and “Everyday is a Winding Road."

Grounds open at 3 p.m., musical performances begin at 8 p.m. Jimmy Smits hosts the annual concert that leads up the nation's premier fireworks display. Musical lineup includes Barry Manilow with the National Symphony Orchestra, Aretha Franklin, Natasha Bedingfield, the cast of "Jersey Boys," Michael Feinstein and Andrew von Oeyen.

The International Spy Museum Presents: KidSpy Family Adventure Spy in the City: Operation Cat Bird Imagine taking on a high-stakes mission to uncover and foil a major terrorist attack planned for Washington, DC. As newly recruited agents for the Special Security Division (SSD) parent/child teams must try to do exactly that by locating hidden clues, cracking codes, and piecing it all together to find a secret password just in the nick of time. Teams will carry out an exciting self-guided outdoor mission using espionage tradecraft and intelligence collection activities.
