On Tuesday, August 27th, the Summer Edition of the Rock on Philly: Bands and Bites music showcase is back for ROUND THREE outside on the Plaza, at the Comcast Center's Table 31. Spotlighting some of the city’s most promising musical talent and hosted by Singer/Songwriter Jennifer Logue, the evening will feature music performances from 3 Reverbnation- selected artists as well as delectable food & drink specials from Table 31. The audience favorite will be voted to perform at the Rock on Philly Finals in November 2013 to become Artist of the Year.

Come out and play ball for a great cause at SPIN'S Third Annual Softball Tournament. Enjoy a day of fun while helping to support children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and autism spectrum disabilities to enjoy A Life of Possibilities.

 With more than 250 of the most celebrated artisans from around the country showing and selling their handcrafted work, the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival will return to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Friday, November 1, through Sunday, November 3.

The Oval, the new “Park on the Parkway,” will be showing a 80s cult classic movie: The Goonies. Guests are welcome to join us at The Oval throughout the day for other activities but the movie will begin at sundown. A variety of food trucks will be in attendance. 

The Oval, the new “Park on the Parkway,” will host Footloose and Bacon Fest! In honor of Footloose star, Kevin Bacon, Bacon Fest will be presented by Awesome Fest. The much anticipated festival will feature a variety of food trucks serving bacon style dishes plus a pig roast from the new Cherry Bomb Bus. The movie Footloose will begin at sundown. 

The Oval the new “Park on the Parkway,” will officially kick-off its summer season’s Sunday Family “Oval” Party. The Oval will host a variety of family related activities including live music, face painting, and the Sprout characters. The Philly Hoopstarz will perform a hoop dance and hold a hula hoop contest. The Free Library of Philadelphia will host Techmobile which is a mobile computer lab. The Philadelphia Fire Department will also have fire education literature to learn about fire safety. Food trucks will be on site.
