On Tuesday, August 27th, the Summer Edition of the Rock on Philly: Bands and Bites music showcase is back for ROUND THREE outside on the Plaza, at the Comcast Center's Table 31. Spotlighting some of the city’s most promising musical talent and hosted by Singer/Songwriter Jennifer Logue, the evening will feature music performances from 3 Reverbnation- selected artists as well as delectable food & drink specials from Table 31. The audience favorite will be voted to perform at the Rock on Philly Finals in November 2013 to become Artist of the Year. Sponsors include Uber, Technically Philly, UpcomingEvents.com, and Marvin Capps Realty.
"Rock On Philly" is an entertainment blog that is dedicated to promoting the arts in Philadelphia. As one of its first major outreach initiatives is the Rock On Philly: Bands and Bites Music Showcase.
At the third round of the Summer Series, taking place on Tuesday, August 27th at the Comcast Center's Table 31, attendees will enjoy incredible live music, delicious food & drink specials, and raffle giveaways, all while socializing underneath the stars on the Plaza.
Hosted by Singer/Songwriter Jennifer Logue, the evening will feature 3 musical artists who will be selected through a contest by Reverbnation, a major music- networking site with over 2.6 million registered artists. Preference will be given to artists local to Philadelphia.
Table 31 is one of Philadelphia's most celebrated restaurants and occupies 10,000 square feet of the Comcast Center. It is located at 1701 JFK BLVD in Center City Philadelphia.
The event will open at 5PM for networking with the showcase beginning at 6:00PM.
The Summer Edition Showcases are open to the public and free to attend but registration is encouraged at the link below.
