For over 20 years, Leah Macdonald has been using her camera, coupled with her unique encaustic painting techniques, to capture the diversity, beauty, challenges, spirit, sadness, and joy of being in
one’s own body. Leah Macdonald’s photo exhibit celebrates the female form, while considering ideas about body image and human emotion.

The KatherineAlexandra Foundation and Wexler Gallery present the In My Body Project Roundtable Discussion, an inspirational conversation addressing body image and esteem issues. The roundtable discussion and brunch will take place at Wexler Gallery (201 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia) on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Members of the community and an expert panel, including specialists in the physical and mental health, wellness, fashion, beauty and entertainment industries, will share ideas in an attempt to answer the question, “Are we ever truly at home in our own bodies?”
