The National’s Leadership in Ministry Retreat: Leaders uniting, One Nation under God will be held May 13 -15, 2016. This three-day conference, designed to inspire and educate religious, ministry and community leaders, will feature energized workshops and nationally acclaimed guest speakers. The program will give attendees the opportunity to collaborate with a number of national and community leaders in ministry.
“The National is very proud to be the host of such an inspirational retreat for leaders in ministry,” stated Paula Safran, director of catering sales and the event’s organizer. “Our 65-acre campus is the perfect backdrop for a weekend of learning, collaborating and strengthening our relationship with Christ.”
The weekend retreat will include five workshops covering a wide range of topics, including audience engagement, finance, community outreach, and how to become an inspiration to other church leaders. Special guest speakers that will be presenting during the retreat include: Pastor Terrence Bridges, associate pastor at Capital Community Church; Janet A. Ford, founder and chief executive officer of Leadership with Purpose and Passion; Burt Rosenberg, humorist and speaker; and Larry Rosenthal, president of Rosenthal Wealth Management Group and host of the "Making Money Sense" radio show.
Richard Land, Ph.D., president of Southern Evangelical Seminary, will be presenting the keynote address at the Leadership Ministry Retreat. Land’s presentation, “Defending Soul Liberty: United We Stand, Divided We Fall,” will address how all people of faith can be united around defending the right to share their faith and the right to practice their faith. The retreat’s keynote address will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 8 p.m. and is open to the public for a fee of $28 (plus transaction fee).
