#PutAnEggOnIt! Eggspectation the breakfast restaurant concept, which began in Montreal in 1993, is slowly expanding in the USA. The restaurant group has a total of twenty-three locations, twelve in Canada with a focus in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto, three in Dubai, Qatar and India, 5 in Suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia opened April 5 in Baltimore, Maryland's Owings Mills neighborhood. It is situated across from the Owings Mills metro stop in a mixed use developement by David S. Brown Enterprises called Metro Centre. The other USA spots are located in Ellicott City, Silver Spring, Maryland and three are in Northern Virginia.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a diverse menu that emphasizes its breakfast items, available throughout the day. Menu selections include an array of eggs benedict choices such as the Lobster Benny, classic dishes like omelets waffles, crepes, pancakes, brioche French toast and simple New-American style dishes. They also serve sandwiches, salads and trademark burgers called Eggsecutive Burgers.
“This location within Metro Centre at Owings Mills provides us with every element needed for long-term success, as we recognized its emergence as the new town center and central gathering spot in Baltimore County,” explained Enzo Renda, Chief Executive Officer of Eggspectation Restaurants, LLC. “We are surrounded by the presence of a 24/7 built-in consumer audience with the existing apartment community, an active environment outside our door with the library and college, as well as placement along the Baltimore metro rail system.
