Unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions living with Alzheimer’s. Hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Maryland Chapter, this family-friendly event provides an opportunity for the community to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and how to get involved with this critical cause, from advocacy opportunities and clinical trial enrollment, to support programs and services.

During registration at 9 a.m., walkers can drop off donations, pick-up T-shirts, take team photos and decorate posters and Promise Garden flowers. They also can enjoy refreshments provided by Giant Food and Panera.

WMDT-TV Anchor David Caldwell will emcee a powerful opening ceremony focusing on the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Then, the 3-mile walk will commence at 10 a.m., and everyone is encouraged to stay after for fun activities for the family, including the Kids’ Corner.

Participants can register as individuals or teams. Those who raise at least $100 will receive a Walk to End Alzheimer’s T-shirt
