Veteran Caterer Charles Levine to open first restaurant CITRON in Quarry Lakes

Congratualtions to 30-year veteran Mid-Atlantic caterer, Charles Levine, on the opening of his first restaurant, CITRON in the at Quarry Lake at Greenspring in Baltimore, Maryland.

CITRON is set to open late Summer 2016 on the north side of Quarry Lake. The 10,500-sq-ft. restaurant will feature a dining room and bar as well as private event spaces. CITRON will also feature outside patio and waterfront deck seating overlooking the 40-acre lake. The new spot is described as "a full-service restaurant from Charles Levine, will open in Summer 2016 at Quarry Lake at Greenspring, Baltimore County.

Leading the Citron kitchen as executive chef will be Daniel Benedix. Benedix is the former executive chef at green spring valley hunt club Together, he and Levine are developing a menu that will feature contemporary American cuisine with a mix of fresh fish, grilled meats, composed salads and handmade desserts. The bar will serve handcrafted cocktails, craft brews, fine wines and an extensive selection of top-shelf spirits. Open 7 days a week, CITRON will also have valet.

“We are thrilled to finally break ground for Citron,” said Levine. “It has been a longtime goal of mine to open a restaurant. The support from my friends, family, clients and the community has been overwhelming.”

Obrecht Properties is the developer, James Colimore is the architect and Jenkins Baer Associates serves as the restaurant’s interior designer of record.
