I have visited the Pig & Fish a number of times now, each time I sit in the bar area. Ever since the first time, I am greeted, by name by bartender and server, Chipper. And that he is. Ever so calm, cool and collected, this man, makes the experience feel like a guest is sitting in someone's living room. Not only does he know your name, he will remember what glass of wine you like!
Owned and operated, since 2006, by longtime, seasoned hospitality couple, Lisa and Doug Frampton, the nights during the week the bar is flocked by a local crowd, whom all seem to know one another.
Don't let the Pig & Fish name make you think that swine is the only thing to order. Not at all, espeially to my Kosher readers. The menu includes seafood, meats, burgers, pizza and sauces prepared in-house daily. I have heard that the hog wings are delicious and succulent, but I get the house chopped salad described as, mesclun greens, romaine, corn, bacon, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, red onion, white balsamic gorgonzola vinaigrette.with either chicken or shrimp. So delish.
Definitely worth a trip in Rebohoth Beach, Pig & Fish is right on the main strip at 236 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
