City Tap House to Host A Release Party for Founders Brewing Co.

On Thursday, July 9th, City Tap House, the craft beer-focused restaurant located at 901 9th Street, NW, 20001, is hosting a release party for Founders Brewing Co., one of the highest recognized breweries in the United States. On this particular evening, representatives from the Michigan-based brewery will be on hand to pour two new releases: Kentucky Breakfast Stout & Canadian Breakfast Stout. For the perfect pairing, Culinary Director Brian Cooke will feature pancake specials that will be available in addition to the restaurant’s full a la carte menu. Dishes include: Lemon, Ricotta and Blueberry Pancakes with mascarpone cream and stout maple syrup; Bananas Foster Pancakes with whipped cream and stout caramel sauce, as well as Benton's Bacon & Chocolate Chip Pancakes topped with candied pecans, whipped cream and stout maple syrup.
