Ambar Hosts Five-Course Balkan Wine Dinner with Neighbor Chat's Liquors

Ambar, the nation’s capital’s first Balkan restaurant, located at 523 8th Street, SE, 20003, will host a wine dinner with Chat's Liquors, located just a few doors down at 503 8th St, SE, 20003, on Sunday June 7th from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, featuring wines from the Balkan region of Europe. Priced at $65 per person (not including tax and gratuity), guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a five-course meal prepared by Ambar's Executive Chef Ivan Zivkovic featuring modern Balkan fare from his new spring menu, while a representative from Chat's Liquors will pour pairings of unique and affordable wines imported from the Thracian Valley region of Bulgaria. Guests will sample Bulgariana Cabernet Sauvignon, Thracian White Blend, Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah, and the Imperial Red Blend. All the wines sampled during dinner will be available to be enjoyed at the restaurant, and can be purchased at Chat’s to be enjoyed at home.
