International House Philadelphia’s 54th Global Gala: Korea will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 37th and Chestnut Streets in University City. Enjoy an evening of cuisine, art, music and networking to celebrate Korea's rich cultural traditions. Fox 29 Good Day Philadelphia’s Alex Holley will emcee IHP’s largest fundraising event of the year, which will honor Councilman David Oh. Themed festivities will include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, open bar, performances and a formal seated dinner, dancing, desserts and after-hours karaoke.
