Toddler Time: Down on the Dairy Farm

Spring is in the air and it’s time for another special Toddler Time at the American Swedish Historical Museum! Join us on April 21 as we explore some of Sweden’s favorite dairy treats like filmjölk.

The event is a wonderful opportunity for our youngest visitors to learn where dairy products come from and experience some special Swedish dairy farm traditions. Farmers from Colonial Plantation will bring us the guest of honor, Delilah the Dairy Cow! In addition to the live animal presentation, toddlers will enjoy a themed story, get a chance to “milk” their own cow, make butter from scratch and enjoy Swedish dairy inspired snack provided by siggi’s.

Toddler Time is a specially designed program for children ages 18 months to 4 years old. The cost is $5 per child or free for museum Household Members. There is no charge for accompanying caregivers. Pre-registration available by calling 215-389-1776 or online.
