Acclaimed restaurateur James Alefantis is hosting a special dinner at Buck’s Fishing & Camping with Politics & Prose Bookstore for celebrated New York chef and author Gabrielle Hamilton. Dinner will be created by guest chef Amy Brandwein of upcoming restaurant Centrolina.  Brandwein’s featured dinner menu for this special evening is inspired by recipes from Prune, as well as Hamilton’s time in Puglia, Italy. Chef James Rexroad of Buck’s Fishing & Camping will assist with the dinner, and the featured dessert will be created by Chef Lauren Parlato of  Little Red Fox. Wines for this evening will be presented by Robert McFarlane of Roanoke Valley Wines. These wines will also be available for order at the event and afterwards through MacArthur Beverages and copies of Prune can be purchased for autographing at the dinner. Tickets for this wine dinner/meet the author experience are priced 1 book and 1 Dinner Ticket: $150; $140 for members of Politics and Prose Bookstore or 1 book and 2 Dinner Tickets: $250; $240 for members of Politics and Prose Bookstore
