Everybody cut loose, Footloose with Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist, Kenny Loggins at this special benefit concert for Junior Achievement of Central Maryland (JA). With more than four decades of success in the music business, Loggins has had smash hits on Hollywood’s favorite soundtracks, rocked worldwide stages and found his way into children’s hearts while bringing his soulful voice to platinum albums of a variety of genres.

The evening kicks off with a VIP reception and silent auction featuring a variety of theme packages related to Loggins' music and the movies with his soundtrack songs. Additionally, JA will honor Frank Bonsal (a highly regarded Maryland venture capitalist and Director of Entrepreneurship at Towson University) and recognize event supporters, including presenting sponsor, OneMain Financial.

Local students will greet concert goers, providing musical entertainment in the lobby and serving as ushers. Following a brief program with students and JA alumni, Loggins will take the stage. Immediately after the show, he will participate in a meet-and-greet with a select group of guests.

Event proceeds will support JA in its efforts to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network of more than 3,000 Marylanders, JA connects the classroom to the real world by providing hands-on in-school and after-school programs for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Programs focus on work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Founded in 1957, the non-profit organization served more than 42,000 students this past year.
