A repeatedly sold out event with over 300 guests, Flip Flop Festivus offers an elegant night on the town in a resort casual atmosphere. The evening kicks off with an exclusive VIP reception that features past and present celebrities, community leaders and local media personalities.

Invited guests – and past attendees – include Juan DixonMatt Stover, Qadry Ismail, Brad Jackson, Gheorghe Muresan, Ray Knight, Jonathan Ogden, Phil Chenier, Pete Gilbert, Keith Mills, Mark Viviano, David Aldridge and Johnny Holliday. This intimate gathering presents a unique opportunity to mingle and pose with these personalities, while enjoying sumptuous cuisine and cocktails from Neal Langermann, executive chef and partner in Langermann’s, the VIP event sponsor.

The main event will offer exquisite food, wine and cocktails from Four Seasons Executive Chef Oliver Beckert and dancing to live music from Scott's New Band, “the revolutionary party band,” whose members have traveled the Mid-Atlantic region playing such venues as Fed Ex Field, Lincoln Financial Field, Bottle& Cork, 8x10 and Nationals Park.

Guests also can enjoy raffles and an exciting live auction of highly sought-after sports and travel packages.  Additionally, there will be a special tribute to the late Paul Blair, former Baltimore Orioles great and a long-time Life and Breath Foundation supporter.

Proceeds from Flip Flop Festivus will directly benefit the groundbreaking research to create a diagnostic test for Sarcoidosis, which would save millions in healthcare expenses. They also will support the Life and Breath Foundation’s efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle for patients, including a healthy diet, exercise and increased health awareness.

Established in 1998, the Life and Breath Foundation is a 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to raising funds to improve patient care, improve communication between patients and physicians and fund research to find a cure for Sarcoidosis, which affects 1 in every 2,000 Americans. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised over $300,000 for Sarcoidosis research studies. Because of reduced NIH funding, Sarcoidosis research efforts require significant philanthropic support to move forward.
