BLUE MOON CAFE Expands TO FEDERAL HILL- August Opening Planned-Rock & Roll Attitude DINER Inks 2nd Baltimore Location and NBC's Food Fighters

BLUE MOON CAFE, located in historic Fells Point area of Baltimore, Maryland since 1996, is opening a second diner location at 1024 Light Street in Federal Hill. Blue Moon Cafe Federal Hill will have the same menu, self-described “bad ass” attitude, energy and vibe. It will surely prove to be a hotspot in an area full of Orioles and Ravens fans, locals and visitors to the Cross Street area.

Known for their signature Biscuits & Gravy and Captain Crunch Encrusted French Toast, Baltimore-based Conceptionista, Sarah Simington, has traveled the country honing her craft. Simington has been a featured guest on The Food Networks, Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives with Guy Fieri. She will star in the first episode of NBC 's new show airing July 22, Food Fighters, hosted by Adam Richman which gives amateur chefs the chance to test their skills against the pros in the ultimate culinary clash.

In 1996 Sarah, and her mother Sherri, a diner veteran, opened acclaimed Blue Moon Cafe in the historic Fells Point. Sarah's personal style is in every corner of Blue Moon Café; From the bright and funky artwork, to the music; you know Sarah's rock and roll attitude goes into every bite of her food. Driven by the passion she has for mixing people and food, Sarah strives for every bite to invoke discovery and playfulness for anyone that tackles her signature breakfast.

ZAGAT: recently describes BLUE MOON CAFE as” "Eccentric, eclectic, exciting" sums up this "funky" Fells Point American "favorite" known for its "unique" breakfast and lunch items (e.g. "amazing" Cap'n Crunch French toast") and "off-the-wall" decor; "great prices" "guarantee looong waits on weekends" when "crowds can be as large as the portions", but just "accept" it, as everything's served with "flair" and perfect "after a night out drinking"; P.S. open 24 hours Friday and Saturday (7 AM–3 PM otherwise).

Additionally, HEALING PATH Yoga will be housed above and Simington plans to add smoothies to her menu and be true partners to her neighbors.

“We are so proud of our quality and standards and our success is overwhelming,” states Simington.
