Wine & Chocolate

On Saturday, April 12, 2014, the Women’s Law Center of Maryland will host the 8th Annual Wine & Chocolate event at the University of Baltimore’s Student Center from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

This event features delicious chocolate treats from Baltimore’s local businesses, as well as specially selected wine pairings.  A Silent Auction will also be included in the evening’s festivities, as well as a 50/50 Raffle. Tickets are available for $25 in advance/$30 at door; $20 students; $40 VIP (includes limited edition keepsake wine glass).

Wine & Chocolate is the Women’s Law Center’s primary social event of the year and is quickly becoming a must-attend evening for the local legal community, attracting over 100 guests each year.  This event enables us to raise awareness or our organization which promotes justice for underserved women and families in Maryland through direct service and advocacy.  The Women’s Law Center provides a number of critical services, including free legal representation to victims of domestic violence, as well as hotlines that provide legal advice on family law and employment matters. For many of our clients, these are the only opportunities for them to receive much-needed access to an attorney regarding matters that affect their safety, stability and rights.
