NKF-MD 2014 Salisbury Kidney Walk

Benefitting the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland, the 2014 Salisbury Kidney Walk is a fun, inspiring, community fundraiser that calls attention to the prevention of kidney disease and the need for organ donation.

Participants can choose from a 3-mile trail or shorter path. There will be a variety of festivities for all ages as well as doggie registration, face painting, children’s activities and music. Refreshments will be provided, with beverages donated by Pepsi.

Sharon Hurley, a PKD patient and living donor recipient, will chair this year’s event.

Funds raised through Kidney Walk will directly support NKF-MD’s patient services, education and research efforts. More than 4,500 people participated in the 2013 Kidney Walk events, which raised over $450,000.
