Eating With Locals DC is hosting our first event on Aug 20, 2013 at Masa 14. 14th Street has been the recent hotspot for foodies and with the ever growing number of restaurants it is only fitting to kick off this event at one of Richard Sandoval's restaurants. Masa 14 has been written up with widely popular reviews and has developed a reputation as the spot for a delicous brunch.
Our theme for this event is dinner and a movie. We are delighted to have local filmmaker Michael Yale Pollak as our guest. He is set to film a motion picture under Eric Gitter's company (Scott Pilgrm Vs. The World) and the producers behind Scream and Scary Movie. He has co-created over 70 commercials and video. This is great opportunity for local/visiting foodies and movie buffs alike to eat, meet and share in this social dining experience.
*Admittance to attend is free. All guests are responsible for purchasing their own meals and beverages. Eating With Locals is just a forum for foodies to get together. Please note this event is taking place during restaurant week. The following menu special for restaurant week is available. In consideration of other attendees please arrive on time.
