Mobile Fashion Trucks, all retail, no snacks, just tweets

Primary tabs

Peddlers, the act of taking your wares onto the streets as a travelling vendor.  Peddler becuase those of past generation actually peddled goods on bikes. This is nothing new. My grandparents and great grand parents immigrated to America and had to do just that selling items like furniture, supplies, clothing. Clothing??

Fast forward to current day America and the Mobile Food Truck rage. Some trucks cart well-seasoned and accomplished chefs from all over the world.

What's next, well, a glance back to the past. Mobile Clothing and Accessories Trucks. Now there is even a American Mobile Retail Association (AMRA) as these types of businesses are popping up all over the country and as a group, they work together to grow the innovative industry of mobile boutiques and services.

To communicate their whereabouts, sales, offerings and news, these businesses have taken to key social media outlets: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram being the top choices. They tweet, post and share photos of their whereabouts. The most successful doing it routinely with their followers.

Here are a sampling of some USA Mobile Retail Trucks:

Now opening a business is not easy and there are many questions and issues that arise. Insurance, financing, marketing, website, permits, oh that is a big one and merchandising. Not to mention payroll, staffing, training and social media manangement. But it is certainly attainable with the right team and perseverance. Recently, the fahion trucks have joined Food Truck Gatherings, melding the interests of the people. Others are popping up at home parties and street fairs. And, I understand FASHnStop will supply the wine!
