PASTERNAK WINE IMPORTS and MUD HOUSE WINE Team as Official Wine for Emirates Team New Zealand for America’s Cup Festivities in San Francisco. Founded in 1988, Pasternak Wine Imports is a national importer of fine wines from France, Spain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, and California.  Mud House produces award winning wines from New Zealand’s best grape growing soils including Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, Pinot Noir from Central Otago and aromatics from the Waipara Valley. In the United States, Mud House wines are imported by Pasternak Wine Imports and are sold in more than 20 export markets worldwide.

Since Valencia 2007, Mud House has been the official wine supplier for Emirates Team New Zealand (ETNZ) supporting their bid to win the America’s Cup. As the ‘official wine supplier’ to ETNZ, Mud House used this opportunity to introduce both consumers and the trade to Mud House’s distinguished New Zealand wines. Members of the Pasternak Wine Imports team and Mud House winemaker, Ben Glover, were recently in San Francisco with several key wholesalers/retailers and media for a series of events surrounding the America’s Cup. America’s Cup is the premier global sailing competition, seen and experienced by millions now being hosted in San Francisco for the first time in 18 years.

Last weekend’s events in San Francisco included; “an official Kiwi welcome” at the ETNZ hospitality venue, talks by the Emirates Team New Zealand, trips out onto the bay to view the ETNZ team in action and several winemaker dinners Having guests experience Mud House wine, reaching out to other trade partners and experiencing what ETNZ offers, is something Mud House is proud to be associated with as ‘official wine supplier’. Mud House winemaker Ben Glover commented, “The opportunity to personally present the unique style and personality of Mud House wines to distinguished wholesale, retail and press partners with the backdrop of The America’s Cup is second to none.” Mud House wines will be at Emirates Team New Zealand sailing base exclusively for the approximately four month period that ETNZ is present in San Francisco, as well as other New Zealand Trade Enterprise events such as pop up restaurants, demonstrations and trade events etc.

Thousands of Americans and international visitors will be able to cheer on Emirates Team New Zealand in the America’s Cup while enjoying one of New Zealand’s premier wine producers- Mud House wines. Cheers.
